Why Seeking Counselling Is a Sign of Self-Awareness, Not Weakness

June 26, 2014

Why People Delay Seeking Therapy Many individuals wait until stress, anxiety, burnout, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, or emotional exhaustion have become deeply … [Read more...] about Why Seeking Counselling Is a Sign of Self-Awareness, Not Weakness

Indo-Canadians on the Edge of Change

March 9, 2014

While chemistry and shared experiences can bring people together, long-term relationship health often depends on communication, emotional safety, trust, mutual respect, and the ability to navigate stress and conflict together over time. What Helps Relationships Last? Healthy relationships often require emotional awareness, vulnerability, communication skills, and the willingness to understand one another beyond surface-level connection. … [Read more...] about Wedding Bells & Nice Smells Does Not Make A Relationship

April 28, 2013

Many couples care deeply about one another yet still struggle to feel emotionally connected, appreciated, or understood. Differences in communication styles, emotional needs, and expressions of affection can sometimes create misunderstandings and disconnection over time. Exploring concepts like love languages can help couples better understand how they each give and receive emotional connection within a relationship. Emotional Connection and Communication in Relationships Healthy relationships often depend on more than good intentions alone. … [Read more...] about Understanding Love Languages in Relationships
