Hi, my name is Laurie Schuerbeke BSW, RSW and I first came to Reichian Therapy (Counselling) in 1998 as a client and worked with Michael Miskin, Reichian Therapist, RCC in North Vancouver. I had spent most of my working life up to that point working within my community as a social worker.In going on my own counselling journey I came to the intense realization that helping people from a therapeutic approach was where my passion and skills truly flourished.
I work with individuals and couples. I have trained with Terry Real from the Relational Life Institute and completed level 1 in couples therapy. In 2017 I trained with the International Collaborative Society to be a Separation and Divorce Coach.
I come to my work as a therapist and coach from an experiential orientation first. I am a registered social worker and have worked for many years in several Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities throughout Vancouver Island.
I have a lot of life experience and passion for helping others resolve the inhibitions that prevent full enjoyment of life. It is my honour to accompany you on your path to a more fulfilling life.
